The handle is a very nice feature, the bowl has ALOT of room. Also the color.... the color is beautiful. Also love the attachments that came with it.

I bought this about a month ago, overall I'm pleased with the product, my only complaint is that the whisk attachment sticks and it is very very hard to get it off the mixer, which stinks when you have icing all over it, then it's all over me. Other than that, has good power and a lot of room in the bowl.

Finally Got my Kitchenaid Mixer

Have been wanting a Kitchenaid for years, previously had another brand, and then got a used 6qt. years ago, and well, that's a story in itself. Anyway, I have missed having a stand mixer. On hind site, I wish I had gotten the 6qt, I thought the 5qt wouldn't be that much different, but when making a dough the other day, it was straining a bit, just won't make as big of batches of food at one time is all. I was a bit upset when the package arrived though, it came Fed Ex and I did have to sign for it, the reason I was upset was the box was a bit dung up, and the styrofoam packaging was crushed and broken, so if I ever want to pack it, I want have that styrofoam to use, but I'm very happy so far. Regarding my value rating: I ended up finding the 6qt refurbished Kitchenaid Stand Mixer on another site, cheaper than what I paid through Walmart.com, as well as some other sites and Walmart.com wouldn't let me cancel the order, so I could try to get it cheaper somewhere else, but I'm happy, and sometimes that's just how it goes.

Love my refurbished Artisan, but there's a caveat

I bought a refurbished, Azure Blue Artisan stand mixer today, and love it, but there are a few things to be aware of when buying this way: there is only a 6-month warranty instead of 1-year, and that does not include any defects in the paint or finish. They are not supposed to open the boxes so you can inspect the units before buying, but there was a woman there who got them to do so, and the top of the mixer she was going to buy had a couple fine scratches in the paint. Mine is pristine. Another thing to be aware of is that you don't get the pouring shield that is included with retail Artisans. Fortunately, the pouring shield from my old Classic model fits the Artisan, so I still have a shield. This is my 4th Kitchenaid mixer! My mom got me my first one for my 18th birthday (harvest gold!) I drove out to Greenville to pick up an Aqua Blue Artisan model, but when I saw this Azure Blue baby, my heart skipped a beat. (Bonus: this color comes with stainless steel attachments - not porcelain-coated!) My mixers have each lasted about 15 years, and I bake a lot - bread, cakes, cookies, etc.! That breaks the price down to between $15 to $18 a year, depending on whether you buy retail or refurbished - well worth it!

I purchased a refurbished Artisan tilt head stand mixer and put it to use right away on batches of chocolate chip cookies and it worked great. The mixer works very well and the attachments come on and off quite easily. I didn't realize how handy it is to have the option to lift the the mixer away from the bowl when its necessary to mix your ingredients with a spatula. I think this is a great little mixer that will get quite a lot of use in my kitchen.
